White Peony, Bai Mu Dan in Chinese, consists of buds and two leaves picked early in the spring. It is grown in the northern region of the Fujian province and is very popular among traditional white teas. The liquor of White Peony is darker than Silver Needle, but tends to be lighter than Shou Mei.
