IMO certified organic green tea from Fujian province of China. This tea was spring-picked and lightly roasted, giving it a robust, full-bodied flavor. It is strongly vegetal with a lightly smoky finish.
Panhao literally means "coiled fur." Coiled because the leaves are curled up into little balls, and fur because it consists of the downy tips of the tea branches, handled delicately enough that the fur does not fall off.
